Research Interests

Dr Pritchard has a special interest in the epidemiology, screening, early behavioral interventions and treatment of high-risk child development. Her clinical expertise is in midwifery, neonatology and managing critically ill and long-term development of high-risk infants and families. She is the chief investigator of Queensland's largest population based cross sectional study of preterm children, several randomised trials and Cochrane neonatal reviewer providing incremental evidence supporting screening, surveillance and intervention program in high-risk paediatrics. Additionally, as a skilled clinical trialist she manages the Multicentre Clinical Trials Centre for neonatal and maternal studies at the RBWH Women's and Newborn Services in concert with the Perinatal Research Centre.
